An important women in the history of America is Rosa Parks. She was an amazing women with a lot of courage and pride in who she was. She was not about to take any disrespect from anyone just because their skin color was different. No she worked just as hard as anyone on that bus and she deserved to sit in the front just as much as anyone did. She stood up for her rights as an American citizen and was taken to jail because of it. She was just tired from a long day of work and all she wanted was to sit in the front of the bus but because the color of her skin was darker, she wasn't allowed.
This was a great movement act on the road to equality. It may not have seemed like much but what she did was a giant stride in The Civil Rights movement.
Rosa Parks was African American but yet she was treated as if she was lower than dirt. The bad thing was it wasn't just her but all African Americans. She was coming home one day from a long day of work when a white man entered the bus and told her to move to the back. Now back in those days if you were African American you had to give up your seat to a white person if they asked for it. Now she felt that she had worked just as hard as him and she felt she deserved that spot just as much as he did. Well she was later arrested for her acts. This just goes to show you though that anyone can stick up for any cause all you have to do is believe and strive torward your goals and never look back.
Rosa Parks was a hero and inspiration to all. Even though she has left this world people for generations will look up to her all over the world. She was a leader, a determined human, and a woman with a strong spirit. She was a very nice but yet tough individual. Even though some people still do discriminate against African Americans, many owe her a thank you becaus ewithout her i'm not sure that many African Americans would be treated with the same dignity and respect as they are today. Rosa Parks was a huge part of the Civil Rights act and without her life may not have been the same as it is today. Generations will recognize her and remember what she did for this country. Rosa Parks was a great leader and if the world was as great as she was, we'd have no more problems.

As the cashier took the dollar bill from my hand, I wondered if that same dollar bill would ever end up back in my wallet. So it got me thinking, what if I put my initials on a dollar bill and see if it comes back to me.
